Vital Signs: Companies Increase Inventories



Companies resumed restocking their warehouses late last year. The value of U.S. business inventories rose 0.3% in November from October to an estimated $ 1.55 trillion. That marks the second consecutive monthly increase after inventories held steady in September, amid uncertainty about customer demand and concerns that the U.S. recovery was faltering.
